NYBMUL is a program for univariate and multivariate analysis of variance and covariance that dates back to the late 1960's. Because of its age, you might expect that it would not do very much, but when you read the manual I think you will be surprised to see that this is actually a powerful program, sometimes rivaling the power and statistical features of modern day statistical programs. Of course due to when it was written, NYBMUL did not have any amenities in terms of the user interface -- no point and click interface or English language style commands. I heard that NYBMUL later grew into a program called MUL5. This later became MULTIVARIANCE and was distributed by Scientific Software. NYBMUL was authored by Professor Jeremy Finn. We are very grateful to Professor Finn for granting us permission to scan the NYBMUL manual and for permitting us to share this manual with all of you. Have a look, I think you will be fascinated!
