How can I get my own copy of HLM?

Are there labs on campus where I can run HLM?

Here are some of the labs on campus that have HLM. These labs may be busy with classes and/or may be restricted to students from certain departments.

Is there a demo version of HLM so I can try before I buy?

Yes, you can download a 15 day "try before you buy" rental version of HLM so you can see if HLM will really suit your needs. 

I heard there is a free student version, how can I get that?

Yes, there is a free student version.  It has a number of limits, but if your problem is small enough it may be sufficient for solving your problems.  You can access the Free HLM Student Edition for more informatin.

How can I purchase HLM?

UCLA no longer has any special pricing. Here are options for obtaining HLM. You can see the pricing for HLM via the HLM web site. You can also rent a copy of HLM for 6 or 12 months.

How do I get started learning and using HLM?

We encourage you to use the HLM user manual to get acquainted with HLM, and refer you to our HLM web page with more tips. For further questions, we welcome members of the UCLA community to come to Statistical Consulting to ask questions about HLM.
