by Kenneth A. Bollen and Patrick J. Curran

This is one of the books available for loan from Academic Technology Services (see Statistics Books for Loan for other such books, and details about borrowing). See Where to buy books for tips on different places you can buy these books. Learn more about the book by visting the Wiley web page for the book.

The book contains the following chapters

- Introduction.
- Unconditional Latent Curve Model.
- Missing Data and Alternative Metrics of Time.
- Nonlinear Trajectories and the Coding of Time.
- Conditional Latent Curve Models.
- The Analysis of Groups.
- Multivariate Latent Curve Models.
- Extensions of Latent Curve Models.

The examples from the above chapters are solved in one or more of the following packages.

- AMOS 5.x
- LISREL 8.x
- Mplus 4.x

You can download the data files, programs, and output by clicking on
LCM.zip (this file can be unzipped using a number of
programs, including Winzip available from
www.winzip.com). Assuming that you unzip this
file to **c:\** it will create a folder **c:\lcm **and all of the contents
will be stored within that folder, and you will find a file named **c:\lcm\Read Me.doc
**which describes more about the programs, data and output provided in the .zip
file. There is a folder for each chapter which contains its own **Read MeX.doc
**(where X is the chapter number). That file provides a legend, for each
example, showing the packages for which the example has been solved. For each
package, the data file, program file, and output file is listed out to help you
find the relevant files so you can solve these examples for yourself.
