Procedures to Take when the Sound Server is Restarted

When the Sound Server (either the app or the machine) has to be restarted:

  1. Set the drivers for the audio card.
  2. Open the config file for compostela.

Loading the Compostela Config File

Note that this will soon be automatic, but for now:

Load the config file:
  1. Select ‘Read data from existing file’ from the ‘Model Data’ menu,


     

  2. In the dialog box that appears, select ‘compsoundmodel.modeldata’. The application will default to the folder containing this file, and this is the only config file in the folder.


     

  3. Click choose.

 
Build the sound model:
Once you have read the config file, you need to actually build the model.  Select ‘Dump Loads (Build Sound Model)’ from the ‘Model Data’ menu.

The next time you run the model from Maravillas, the sound model should work as expected.
